Ingredients
- 320g plain flour
- 100g soft-spread butter
- 100g golden syrup what is?
- 80g chocolate chips
For Icing
- 50g icing sugar
- a few drops of lemon juice
- 1tsp water

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line the tray with baking paper.
Place the flour, golden syrup, and butter into a mixing bowl.
Using your hands, mix together until all ingredients are combined.
Add the chocolate chips and mix.

Form balls and flatten them, placing them directly onto the baking tray.

Bake for 12 minutes per tray until nicely golden.

Making Icing
For the final touch, combine icing sugar with a few drops of lemon juice and 1 tsp of water.
Stir until it reaches the consistency of cream.
