Ingredients
- 500g ground lamb
- ½ red onion
- a handful of fresh coriander, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp ground paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp oil
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C with the fan on.
Prepare the baking tray by lining it with aluminium foil to make cleaning easier later.

Peel and grate half a red onion. Chop the fresh coriander and mince the garlic.

Place the lamb mince into a bowl. Add the grated onion, chopped coriander, minced garlic, and seasonings (ground paprika, cumin, chilli flakes, cinnamon, salt, and pepper).

Massage the mixture until it is well combined and the seasonings are evenly distributed.
Divide the mixture into six portions and shape them into ovals on skewer sticks.

Brush each kofta with a bit of oil. Place the prepared koftas on a baking tray and transfer them to the oven. Bake for 10 minutes, then flip them over, brush the other side with oil, and continue baking for another 10 minutes.

After the designated cooking time, take your koftas out of the oven.
