cuisine: British
Ingredients
- 150g self-raising flour how to?
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 60g rolled oats
- 100g butter, melted
- 100g dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 30g sunflower seeds
- 30g pumpkin seeds
- 30g flax seeds
Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line baking trays with baking paper.

Place all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.

Add the melted butter to the dry ingredients, then pour in the egg.

Using a spoon, mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
Scoop the dough and, using your hands, form it into balls the size of a golf ball, then flatten them to create cookies.

Place the cookies on the baking sheet, ensuring there are gaps between each one.

Bake for 12 minutes (per tray) at 180°C until risen and nicely golden, then cool completely on a wire rack.

Cooled cookies stored in an airtight container will stay fresh for up to 5 days.
Tips
The dough should have a wet consistency and may be a little sticky, so you can wet your hands with water to make it easier to form the balls.
Be careful when purchasing seeds to ensure they are from a nut-free factory.
