Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100g Parmesan cheese
- 300g of spaghetti pasta
- 40g of butter
- 300ml double cream what is?
- 100 ml whole milk
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of black pepper
- a pinch of mixed dried Italian herbs
- a handful of fresh parsley
Method

Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
Grate the Parmesan.
Put most of it into a separate bowl, leaving a portion aside for a garnish on your finished dish.
Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.

Add the spaghetti pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain.
While the pasta is cooking.

In a wide, shallow pan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, approximately 1 minute.
Pour in the double cream and whole milk, stirring to combine.
Season with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and mixed dried Italian herbs.

Add most of the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.

In the meantime, chop the fresh parsley.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce, tossing to ensure the pasta is evenly coated.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and the remaining grated Parmesan.
