Ingredients

  • 100ml of olive oil
  • 20g of fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 20g of sunflower seeds
  • ½ lemon
  • salt, for taste
  • black pepper, for taste

Method

Place basil leaves into a jug.

Add sunflower seeds and squeeze the lemon.

Season with salt and pepper then pour a bit of olive oil.

Blend for a few seconds using an electric blender then add the remaining olive oil.

Blend for a while until all begins to come together.

Place into a small bowl and serve with any pasta.

Keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.
