Meatloaf is a delicious and affordable dish that is perfect for a quick and easy midweek meal. It can be served with vegetables and gravy, as a picnic burger, or on its own. Meatloaf is also a great comfort food when you need a little something to warm you up.

Ingredients
- 750g beef pork mince
- 1 white onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp of bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp of corn flour
- salt, for taste
- black pepper, for taste
- dried marjoram, for taste
- ground paprika, for taste
- a handful of fresh parsley
Method
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line the tray with baking paper.
Chop finely the onion and parsley.
Crush the garlic.
Place all ingredients into a large bowl with seasonings and mix them thoroughly with your hand until all are combined.
Transfer to a baking tray and pat down until level. Sprinkle with ground paprika and marjoram on top.
Cover the top with aluminium foil or baking paper and bake for 1 hour.
15 minutes before the end remove aluminium foil or baking paper from the top and bake to create a nice, brown and crispy top.
Tips
To make it a traditional Polish Roman Roast, hard-boil 2-3 eggs and stuff them into your meatloaf before baking.
Suitable for consumption both hot and cold.
Keep leftovers in the fridge for a maximum of three days.
