Ingredients
- 170g cooked king prawns, frozen
- 1 white onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200g cherry tomatoes
- 200ml of passata
- salt, for taste
- black pepper, for taste
- a handful of fresh basil
- 1 tbsp of fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- olive oil, for greasing
- 250g of spaghetti pasta
Method
Start by dicing the onion and crushing the garlic.
In a non-stick, pan heat the olive oil and fry the onion for a moment then add garlic and fry until fragrant.

Chop tomatoes and add to the pan. Fry for a short while stirring constantly.

Chop basil leaves and together with frozen prawns add to the rest.
Fry until the prawns are cooked. At the end season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Pour passata and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook for around 5 minutes.
In the meantime, boil water for pasta.
Add spaghetti to the water and cook following the instructions on the package.

When the pasta is ready, drain and add to the sauce.
Mix all together and serve.
