Just Perfect Basil Pesto
Rich in flavour fresh basil pesto sauce. A great addition to pasta dishes as well meats, pizza or bread. Homemade and nut-free. Sunflower seeds replace nuts and give a nutty taste.

- 100ml of olive oil
- 20g of fresh basil leaves
- 2 garlic cloves
- 20g of sunflower seeds
- ½ lemon
- salt, for taste
- black pepper, for taste
Place basil leaves into a jug.
Add sunflower seeds and squeeze the lemon.
Season with salt and pepper then pour a bit of olive oil.
Blend for a few seconds using an electric blender then add the remaining olive oil.
Blend for a while until all begins to come together.
Place into a small bowl and serve with any pasta.
Keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.
