- 1 white onion
- a handful of fresh parsley
- salt, for seasoning
- ground pepper, for seasoning
- 50ml oil for greasing
During cooking, you will need aluminium foil (kitchen foil).
Method
Peel the vegetables and wash them.
Cut the potatoes into rings no more than ½cm thick.
Dice the onion and slice the carrot into thin rings. Chop parsley.
Cut the sausage into rings and then into halves.
Place potatoes and carrots in a large bowl. Mix with half amount of oil and season with salt and pepper.
Put another half of the oil on the bottom of the large non-stick pan.
Place half of the potatoes and carrots into the pan.
Add onion and sausage on top of them and cover with the remaining potatoes and carrots. Scatter chopped parsley on top.
Cover the pot with a piece of aluminium foil and a lid for the pan. Aluminium foil will keep the moisture inside the pan and the lid will make it tight.
Cook on low-medium heat for around 40 minutes.
Your food is ready once the potatoes are soft and nicely cooked.
