Chicken Tikka Appetizer

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, approx. 360g
- 1 tbsp of medium tikka curry powder
- 1 tbsp of tomato paste
- 1 tbsp of tap water
- oil, for greasing
For the Dip
- 100ml of Greek Yoghurt
- a pinch of fresh mint
- 50g fresh cucumber
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of black pepper
Additionally
- 200g tortilla chips
- 200g of Mango & Apricot chutney
- a handful of fresh coriander leaves
Method
Let’s start with a dip
Place the Greek yoghurt into a small bowl.
Peel the cucumber and grate on a medium grater. Add to the bowl with yoghurt.
Chop the mint and add as well.
Season with salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Set aside for later.
Let’s prepare the chicken
Wash the chicken breasts and drain.
Place on the chopping board and cut into small cubes.
Spice up with tikka powder and leave for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a large frying pan.
Fry chicken on a pan for about 5 minutes constantly stirring until all pieces are cooked well.
Add tomato paste and water.
Cook further for 2 to 3 minutes stirring.
Place cooked chicken into a bowl.
It’s time for a tortilla
Arrange your tortilla chips onto a clean surface.
Put a teaspoon of chutney onto each tortilla chip.
Add a few pieces of fried chicken and finish with a spoonful of dip.
Garnish with fresh coriander.
Your appetizer is ready!
