Chinese Style BBQ Chicken

- 3 chicken breast
- 1 tbsp of corn flour
- dried garlic, for taste
- black pepper, for taste
- sesame oil, for greasing
Chinese-style BBQ Sauce #
- 50 ml of water
- 1 hooped tbsp of corn flour
- 2 tbsp of honey
- 3 tbsp of hoisin sauce
- 50ml of light soy sauce alternative
- Fresh Coriander leaves
- Sesame seeds
Let’s start with the sauce.
Mix all ingredients until thoroughly combined and set aside.
Wash and drain chicken breasts then cut them into chunks.
Coat the chicken in the corn flour, and season with black pepper and dried garlic.
Heat the sesame oil in the large non-stick pan or wok and add the chicken.
Stir fry for 5 to 6 minutes until golden on all sides over medium-high heat.
When the chicken is cooked throughout, pour the sauce and cook until the sauce is thickened and glossy, stirring constantly.
Serve with rice.
Decorate with coriander leaves and sesame seeds.
