Ingredients #

  • 4 eggs
  • 200g dark chocolate chips
  • 250g of butter
  • 360g of brown sugar
  • 70g of self-rising flour
  • 80g of cacao powder

Method #

Preheat the oven to 170C.

Line a 20x25cm tray with baking parchment overlapping slightly on the sides.

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. When the butter is melted set aside to cool down a little.

Place eggs into the mixing bowl and whisk until the eggs become light and fluffy.

Add brown sugar and mix together. Pour the melted butter and whisk further.

Sift the flour with cacao powder and add to the egg mixture. Stir until fully combined.

Nut-Free Homemade Brownie - Ready for baking

Pour into a baking tray and scatter over the chocolate chips.

Bake 35-45 minutes on the medium shelf.
