Simple Strawberry-Oat Crumble Bars

Ingredients
- 160g porridge oats
- 200g self-raising flour how to?
- 150g sugar
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 180g butter, at room temperature
- 300g of strawberries
- 1 tbsp of corn flour
- icing sugar, for dusting how to?
Method
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Prepare the baking tray (24/35cm) and line it with baking paper.
Place porridge, flour, sugar, baking powder and butter into a mixing bowl and rub with your hand until you get the crumbled dough.
Place ⅔ of the dough on a baking tray and use a spoon to flatten and even them out.
The crumble will come together creating a base.
Cut the strawberries into quarters or smaller pieces. Dust them with corn flour and spread them evenly onto the flattened dough.
Cover them from the top with the remaining crumbled dough.
Bake for 35 minutes until nicely golden on top.
Cool it down and dust it with icing sugar before serving.
